@mmn yes - and certainly single-user and probably invite-only should have it enabled as well. But countless peopel are stumbling over it NOT being enabled. I think a private in-house instance will be the exception - and then it's easy enough to disable it. #ostatus

@lnxw37 with 'both' I was referring to xmpp and private messaging; I've often said that #OStatus should be enabled by default #federation

@mk imho, that federation works is quite magic. if #Ostatus and #Friendica has some trouble atm, it is how it is. :-)
