When I hear 'canvas' I immediately think of web canvas (a sort-of competitor to #SVG) and creating drawings algorithmically in-the-browser. I blame too much time reading #W3C sites and not enough reading Geoffrey Chaucer.

@roland @aqeel Yes, there is an effort to get some basic #federation between some of our federated #socnets. There is also an effort at #W3C to bless a protocol based on #PumpIO‘s protocol and persuade all networks to use it. /CC: @mmn
