After a whole day of trials and getting advice on #linode IRC channel, HE still isn't able to "pull" a zone from Linode (or at least this one). Giving up (for now) on letting Hurrican Electric "pull" a slave zone for this domain. That also implies that if I manage to set up a cron job to maintain part of that domain with Dynamic DNS, those Dynamic records will not be pulled automatically by HE: I can set up a "backup" domain there, but keeping it in sync will be all manual. :( #networking #dns The only alternative I can think of is to run a private DNS and getting that to AXFR the domain - but I'll visit that later.
