For those, who upgraded #gnusocial and loose ability to post to any group, this is for you: GNU Social groups profiles fixer (http://url.pztrn.name/rj). This script will check if profile entry for subscribed groups exists, and add, if neccessary. Also it will fix wrong profile_id (which usually "0") with actual profile id. !fediverse

Hm, #xmpp is laggy with latest #gnusocial. Probably, I will try to revert to #queuedaemon instead of #opportunisticqm.
-
Ah, I broke database for my #gnusocial instance. I glad I do everynight backups :)

tzag, fediverse. Today I will take another shot into fresh #gnusocial code. I hope, I will get some luck and will manage it work...

You'd better upgrade to either #statusnet 1.1.1 (or #gnusocial ) if you haven't already addressed the security issues mentioned here http://status.net/2013/07/16/security-alert-sql-injection-attack-for-statusnet-1-0-x-and-1-1-x

No, with my daemons all ok. I set up test instance with very fresh #gnusocial code. And it works without any problems I got on my instances. Now I have to figure out how is that possible :D

currently: the majority of the reports (1) (2) (3) as well as bug reports, e.g. (4) is only one, indicate #statusnet / #gnusocial fails with #dataportability. The only system I know supporting and working successfully is !friendica. #pump.io doesn't offer this (as well as deleting one's account). Got couple crazy ideas about #gnusocial and some tools developed by me. Gonna try to realise them :)
-
They may be constructive. We know @even-v4 wasn't listening. We expect that !gnusocial is listening.
