@laurelrusswurm @chimo I, too, agree that hierarchical conversations are an important feature. Years ago, it was the primary thing that set #Identica and #Jaiku apart from !Twitter.

@nds @eric In the old days, there were plenty of spammers trying to use #Identica to launch their sites’ popularity or promote some product or service. I don’t think our current network has any sites so highly rated by search engines that it makes sense for such activities.
