@lnxw37 Yes I was very impressed by the documentation on #DigitalOcean . #Linode looks a little too expensive to me. Going for #Linode means shutting down all the other shared hosting accounts I have and learning how to run normal websites on a VPS (in addition to #StatusNet) . I am reluctant to do this at the moment.

A question to those who !selfhost #StatusNet : I am looking to buy a server to run a single user StatusNet site; a VPS or a cloud server (KVM). Are there any minimum requirements (RAM, CPU etc) that I should be aware of? What worked for you best? !fediverse

I think there are #bugs related to #StatusNet likes and redents. (1) redents of my own notices never show up on my timeline (as xxxx repeated this) . (2) Likes do not show up in my old school conversation pages. I don’t know whether this is the right way to put it. So I wont go ahead and report it as a bug for now. !fediverse , have you noticed this or something similar?
