Not much of a #t-storm anymore. It must have worn itself out dropping quarter to golf ball sized hail in a few places West and South of here. All #JCMO has is a few lightning flashes and a little rain. Temperature in the mid to high 60s (°F).

#NWS / #NOAA continued all night with the severe #t-storm alerts for #Kansas and #Missouri. Most recent: quarter-size hail, 60MPH winds in Cole County #MO, just south of Jefferson City #JCMO, where I was just about a year ago.

#NOAA #NWS has issued severe #t-storm watches for SE #Kansas (3 counties), Central & SW #Missouri (30 counties) until 22:00 CDT. Includes long stretches of US-54 and I-44. A "watch", I believe, means severe weather is possible, but not yet observed. Be safe out there.
