@bob Bad mistake for the computer companies. I personally think #Win8 / #Win8.1 and #Win10 are one of the drivers behind declining PC sales. If people are willing to buy hardware to install their own OS, they're still buying a non-tablet.

@jim @hikerus If you've experience the crippled #Win8 desktop, #Win10 is a big improvement. (Though Win8's tablet mode seems to be better than Win10's. But I don't even use tablet mode on the tablet, so that doesn't matter to me.)

@nds I never got comfortable with #Win8 or #Win8.1, so #Win10 (in desktop mode) is a great improvement. In tablet mode, 8 wins easily, IMO.

@daw Figures. Last time I spent much time in a AT&T store (when I was in #Baton_Rouge, in the mall where I walked on rainy days and Saturdays), they were trying to push #WinPhone7 & #Win8 on everyone that walked in. Didn’t seem aware even then of what other OSes could do.
