@drak their FAQ: "Epic by default removes all Google services from Chromium so that your browsing does not go through Google’s servers." >

@drak You're welcome. And that truly is a big issue, no question. Why nothing is being done about this is maddening.
-
@drak Och, das ist alles relativ. Eigentlich ist böse, was da mit uns gemacht wird. Jeden Tag neu. Da sind doch solche Scherze eine Art von Notwehr. Sag ich mal..

@ghostdancer Ah, you mean medicine that WORKS. Gotcha. /cc @hotmamahikers @drak @kuro

@hotmamahikers @drak @johnnynull @kuro in theory the real alternative one is what we call allopathic medicine the others are the traditional
-
@hotmamahikers @drak Depends on how you define "alternative", I suppose. Add to that list chiropractors, acupuncturists, and TCM.
-
@drak The two do not have to be mutually exclusive so long as logic is utilized. Except where homeopathy is concerned. Total crock!

I guess what Microsoft wants here is that Android/Linux device manufacturers "increase(?)" their prices so that the other competitors (a glaring example: Nokia) can take a share of the money pie. Hmmm ...

I totally agree that !FreeSoftware is competitive. However in this case, I don't see any FS on the complaint--just Android/Linux. Forcibly pre-installing Google-related apps on these mobile devices w/o the ability to opt-out of them w/o rooting the device maybe considered as "Anti-competitive". I'd rather support #Replicant or even #cyanogenmod. On the other hand, I'm always suspicious if one of the members who did the complaint is Nokia/Microsoft.

@drak It's possible to see it like you, okay. I'm not a missionary. I like debates.

before I go on, I’ll let my backup run through. Afterwards I can tinker more in peace :)

now my #kde started from #emacs is fully functional - thanks to `Edited ~/.xinitrc exec /usr/bin/ck-launch-session /usr/bin/dbus-launch --exit-with-session emacs` found at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1645209&p=10238079#post10238079

In the #emacs I can run startkde to get a basic kde, though with some limitations.

@drak hm … habe diese Definition irgendwie ignoriert … erscheint aber leider echt passend. Massivst negativ konnotiert *grübel*
