Looking for a new outliner/notepad for GNU !linux , I used #zim so far but it seems it's getting dead, so time to move on. Any ideas?

I was trying #zim earlier. Never got going. Quickly switched to !emacs and !orgmode when I found it to be much better.

After a lot more typing, I'm already struggling with organisation. The 'journal' idea of writing text on/for a particular date appeals to me - but not how I now realise it's implemented. What I really want is to have things organised…

@jos I'm not an #emacs user, and don't think I'll become one, so that's out (for now, at least). I think I'll stick with #RedNotebook for a week or so, and see where it takes me. I might even end up using both #Zim and this. :) #notes

@mk so, I'm going to make a file (later: page) for each separate software tool for #photo #editing, #metadata and #organizing, listing where the main home page is, where the download page is, how to install, and any problems noted. A lot of work getting it set up, but I'm going to need this later (XnView and XnConvert already have new versions since I installed them just days ago...). I'll need a template. Maybe a nice project for #Zim. #nowineedabreak

Editer son #ZIM tout en le sync avec le client #owncloud désoriente tout à fait #MySQL, entre autres... :(
